Son of Mr. Alexander M'Leod, Ardmair, near Ullapool.

 

Joined the 4th Seaforths 5th July, 1917.
Transferred to the Machine Gun Corps at Clipston Camp.  
Died of Spotter Fever 25th Dec. 1917.

The official records state that he served with the Machine Cun Corps Infantry, that he was 26 years of age and not 21, and that he died on the 24th of December 1917 and not on the 25th.
