Can anyone help to clarify the comments above?

Having cross-checked the information in the original book with the Memorial, it seems that there are two men from Ullapool not commemorated on this Memorial:

Private Angus Mackay from Leckmelm who served with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Number 58).
Corporal Murdo Laing from Inverbroom who served with the 4th Bn. Of the Cameron Highlanders (Number 69).

Having cross-checked the information in the original book with the Memorial, it seems that there are eight or nine men from Coigach not commemorated on this Memorial. There is a Murdo Mackenzie commemorated on the Memorial in Ullapool but there are no records of anyone of that name from the Ullapool area. The 9 men from Coigach are the following:

Private Murdo Mackenzie from Achiltibuie who served with the Cameron Highlanders (Number 36).
Private George MacLean from Achiltibuie who served with the Lovat Scouts (Number 37).
