Son Mr. Alexander Mackenzie, 132 Polglass, Achiltibuie.

 

Killed in action sometime in 1915.

 

Had two brothers serving -

  • Pte. Donald Mackenzie, 4th Seaforths. Killed.
  • Pte. Murdo Mackenzie, Camerons. Killed.

 

“Awake remembrance of these valiant dead."

additional information

As the above record states, there is a Private Thomas Mackenzie but he was killed in August 1917 and not in 1915 as was stated in the original book. Private Thomas is also commemorated on the Canadian War Memorial.
