Son of Mr. Alexander Mackenzie, 132 Polglass, Achiltibuie.

 

Killed in action about Nov. 1917

 

Had two brother serving -

  • Pte. Donald Mackenzie, 4th Seaforths. Killed.
  • Corpl. Thomas Mackenzie, 1st Canadians. Killed.

Their silent tents are spread,

No official record found. There is a Pte. Murdo Mackenzie who served with the Seaforths and not the Camerons who was killed on the 4th of October 1917. He was the only one with this name killed in the last quarter of 1917.
