Son of Mr. Alexander M'Leod, Blair Buie, Rieff, Achiltibuie.

 

Joined the 4th Seaforths 1910
Proceeded to France May, 1916.
Where he was transferred to the 7th Seaforths -
Killed at Arras 9th April, 1917.

 

Had one brother serving -

  • Alexander M'Leod, Seaforths.

On his grave the following is written: "THE LORD GAVE AND THE LORD HATH TAKEN AWAY."
