Son of Mr. William Campbell, Nairn

 

Enlisted in the Scots Guards 1906
Upon transfer to Reserve became a postman in Ullapool -
Mobilized 4th August, 1914
Attached 1st Life Guards -
Killed in action 30th Oct. 1914

 

He left a widow and one son.

 

Had three brothers serving –

  • Donald Campbell. Killed
  • Thomas Campbell
  • Evan Campbell

 

“They were a wall unto us both by night and day.” – 1 Sam. xxv. 16.
